Pretty much a slow start to the year.
First few days were great - spent them watching dvds, shopping and watching more dvds :]
Then however it was back to school, which started off ok but then parents night, reports and all kinds of mayhem followed. Why does every teacher feel the incessent need to ram the fact that we have exams this year and how much we have to do for them down our throats every other period?
And does anybody else feel that all anybody seems to be asking them is what they want to do for the rest of their lives? I wish they'd just back off a minute and let me actually think about what I might want to do.
Films
Well I seen [only?] two in the cinema this month - I Am Legend and P.S I Love You.
Liked them both to a certain extent, I Am Legend I think had the potential to be much better and P.S ILY felt a bit predictable, but they were still both pretty good. I Am Legend being the better of the two.
Dvd wise, I don't think I actually bought any this month, unless that time when we went uptown and I bought eleven of them was in this bonny year of 2008?
Cruel Intentions seems to be the most quotable at the moment
And I also, rather shamefully I must say, seen Forrest Gump for the first time this month :]
Was also mightly dissapointed by the fact that Tim Burton Johnny Depp's latest collaberation is an 18,wouldn't shut up about that for days - much to Gemma's despair lol.
Quotability
*Basically any line from Cruel Intentions :]
*Overalls...and some high heeled shoes....And a Cap!
* Gemma: I basically know my way around your kitchen Megan.I think if I was trapped in it, I could make myself a meal.
Megan: Gemma.....my kitchen doesn't have a door ![]()
And so the month ends with me eagerly waiting for my Season Four Premiere of Lost to load, and getting myself all excited about going to see Cloverfield. :]
