So this little encounter has been my third trip to the cinema this month. Now,this film contains everything I hate - its badly written, its cheesy, its utterly predictable, the acting is pretty bad and its downright false - but I still, somehow, managed to enjoy it.

The script was a piss take.I'm not sure how English teenagers behave and speak but I'm pretty sure it's not even similar to that portrayed in this film. It has some truly horrendous one liners and cheesy catch phrases are scattered throughout.

It's predictable beyond belief - you'll guess what's going to happen every step of the way.

The acting was nothing special, and infact I think the best performance came from the cat,Angus.

It shoves false ideologies down your throat, which I'm not a fan of - the nice girl will get the guy, even when competing against a girl who's willing to put out at every opportunity - I think not! :))

It's not particularly well directed and I was expecting more from Gurinder Chadha [director of Bend It Like Beckham & Paris Je T'aime.]

However, despite it's obvious downpoints,I still managed to enjoy it.Every girl in the theater was cringing at the same points and laughing at the same ridiculous lines,so I think thats what led to my enjoyment of this outrageous piece.

Although definately not the movie of the summer,if you're up for some cheese and far fetched situations, give it a go.

Until Next Time
