Ok so here we go again.Last year I posted my list so I could strike them off as I go.I've already done 50% of my drama exam, 30% of my history exama and 20% of my media exam,but all my proper written exams start next week.Wish me luck
FRIDAY 15TH MAY - HIGHER ENGLISH
Reading (8.30AM-10.15AM) - Went better than expected.Found it to be not too difficult and I answered everything for once.So hopefully I've made a nice dent into my mark there.
Critical Essays (11.10AM-12.40PM) - Good essay questions came up that I felt prepared for so I wrote about the use of setting in 'The Catcher in the Rye' and the experience of war as portrayed in 'War Photographer' and 'Shooting Stars' by Carol Ann Duffy.Pretty good me thinks,so I'm hoping for a good,solid B.
MONDAY 18TH MAY - HIGHER DRAMA
Question Paper (12.30PM-3.00PM) - Uh.Oh.Bad,bad,bad essay questions.And a ridiculously short dramatic commentary to work with.Really,I'll be shocked if I get above a C.Well actually,combined with my acting mark,I might be ok for a B.But I dunno.Ahh,anticipation.Imagine me come August.
THURSDAY 21ST MAY - HIGHER MATHS
Paper 1 [Non-Calculator] (9.00AM-10.30AM) - Quite a reasonable paper,I found.I answered most things and I think I done pretty ok.HOWEVER...
Paper 2 [Calculator] (10.50AM-12.00PM) - ...Truly fucking awful.I can't even talk about it.Let's just say this is a fail.STUPID SQA.
TUESDAY 2ND JUNE - HIGHER HISTORY
Paper 1 [Essays] (8.30AM-9.50AM) - The right essay questions came up so I think it went ok.
Paper 2 [Sources] (10.40AM-12.05PM) - Alright except for one weird cartoon question about the Spanish Civil War.Overall though,I think I done fine.
WEDNESDAY 3RD JUNE - HIGHER MEDIA STUDIES
Paper 1 [ANALYSIS AND EVALUATION] (1.00PM-3.00PM) - Despite only having an hour of revision behind me for this one,I think it went ok.The right essay questions came up so all is good I think.Just got to wait until August now!
