Hey all, hope you're well. I saw this film in Paris and thought I'd better get around to reviewing it, so here we go.
Poor show, I'd say. Amanda Seyfriend and Megan Fox do well enough, but the problem isn't with them. It's with the poor script they've been given, I feel.
Sure it's a bit of good fun. Sexy, relevant, very teen orientated. But it's just not that good a film.
I'm not sure if they were going for a comic tone or not, but at times to me it just came off as really funny. Diablo Cody certainly writes humour better than she does horror, that's for sure. The plot could have been interesting but drifted off into a mega far fetched weirdness.The effects were bad, the ending very unrealistic, the whole thing shot a little bit shoddily.
As a whole, I'd say wait for the dvd.
